Deus Ex: The Fall Disables Guns on Jailbroken iOS Devices

The developers of Deus Ex: The Fall for iOS devices seems to think that just because your iOS device is jailbroken, you must be a dirty, filthy pirate.

As the above image indicates from a user on Reddit, when you reach a part of the tutorial that involves shooting a weapon, you get a lovely error message informing you that you cannot actually play the game using weapons. Sure, you could probably do nothing but non-lethal runs for the game, but there's a problem in that you cannot even shoot your tranq gun in order to proceed through the tutorial once this message happens.

Jailbreaking your phone isn't illegal (as far as I'm aware), it merely voids your warrant with Apple. It's certainly a huge kick to the nuts for those who legally purchased the game at $6.99 (USD) that are now unable to play because of this completely idiotic move.

    Boooooooooooooooo!

Once again a company trying to tell you what you can do to your device that you are paying/paid for. What's worse is its a company that has no relation to the phone itself.

Don't worry though, I'm sure real pirates are working on the fix and now honest people will once again used a pirate version because its easier than the bought version.
