Sony's President of Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, took to Twitter today to answer some fan questions about the PlayStation 4. You can, naturally, head on over to his Twitter page to read up on the latest from Yoshida, while we offer up some of the more interesting responses given to the most burning fan questions.
- Yoshida confirmed that the PlayStation 4 will be region free.
- He says that the 500GB hard drive will be able to be user replaced or user upgraded, just as the PlayStation 3's HDD is.
- Services like Netflix and Hulu will remain as they are now. Meaning, you do NOT need to subscribe to PlayStation Plus in order to access those features on the PS4.
- He also confirmed that in order to play multiplayer games online you will have to be a PlayStation Plus subscriber (which is still cheaper than Xbox Live Gold and comes with more bonuses).
