Fable III is Free for Xbox Live Gold Members

Look, I have no idea if this was done in error, or if this is Microsoft's way of apologizing. Regardless, Fable III [del]and The Walking Dead[/del] is available for free to Xbox Live Gold members.

They may show a price next to them but if you click on "Download to Xbox 360" it should come up with another popup window confirming your purchase and letting you select your payment method. Select your payment method and the prices should show up as "Free."

If they do NOT show up as "Free" then this was done in error and Microsoft corrected the mistake. If it's still "Free" for you, enjoy! Some are also saying these games show up as "Free" when browsing from the Xbox Dashboard, in case it's easier for you to look there for your free games.

The Walking Dead is only for Episode 1. The news has been corrected to fix this error.

Worked for me at 9:27 est. Maybe Microsoft are realizing that Playstation give away free games to users who pay for PSN, and they better do something to bring us back. Honestly offering Fable 3 is not going to win me back.
