Historic Rare Franchise to Return at E3 2013 Promises Microsoft

Microsoft said today that there are 15 exclusive titles lined up already for the Xbox One, eight of which are entirely new IPs. So what about the remaining seven? Well, one of them might be a "historic" franchise from Rare making a return.

Phil Spencer, Microsoft Studios' Corporate VP said that fans of Rare should pleased by what will be shown at E3 2013.

"Fans of Rare and Rare IP I think will be pleased with what we're going to show at E3. We had a limited amount of time today and a lot of story to tell. But Rare remains an incredibly important part of our development capability.

"That historic IP that they've built I think can play a real important role on Xbox One."

So what franchise are you placing your bets on? Killer Instinct? Maybe Viva Pinata? Oh, I got it! Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts 2! Yeah, that must be it!
