Yes it has new technologies implemented, but they don't fool me when they say it's a new engine. It might have been completely built from the ground up similarly to what happened to frostbite from bfbc2 to bf3, it might have had tons of updates but it's not a new engine.

It looks better, but it still isn't up to par with most engines now. The texture quality, especially on the uniforms, is lacking. They look like flat, glossy textures. Explosions, water, etc. are ugly. This is what they should have used maybe 3 years ago as an engine, not in 2013 on "next-gen" systems.

And why is it still 720p? Will there be no 1080p output again or did they just want to upload a video showcasing their new engine in lower quality than the engine produces?

If nobody makes a comparison video showing how it is not a new engine, I'll freaking make one myself.
I also love how they compared it to the MW3 dog, saying how improved it was. Funny thing is, "Mw3 dog" happens to be the same dog from the original mw.

just like tons of other models, textures, effects and animations.
the kind of update they made to the game should have been done years ago. Adding new technologies and models to an engine does not make it a new one.
