Stunning New Images for Wolfenstein: The New Order Released

Currently in development from MachineGames, there are a good handful of new screenshots for Wolfenstein: The New Order that have just been released. Billed as a new "action-adventure shooter", The New Order is a re-imagining of the classic Wolfenstein.

Look for The New Order to be released later this year for the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and next-gen consoles.

They always get the visuals good. But the last Wolfenstein had some really quirky gameplay like the nausea inducing screen bobbing when you moved. Also, the Multiplayer was horrid. RTCW was and still is a blast of a single player game. And there are still lots of folks enjoying Wolf:ET. I just hope they spend some time on the Multiplayer aspect of the game and borrow some of the solid and fun aspects of the RTCW and Wolf:ETseries that are proven successes in MP gaming.

Of course moving from an FPS to an "action adventure style shooter" may deviate too much for Wolfenstein purists to deal with.
"We're all very different people. We're not Watusi. We're not Spartans. We're Americans, with a capital 'A', huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts! Here's proof: his nose is cold! But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, more loveable than the mutt." -John Winger (Bill Murray) Stripes
