Aliens: Colonial Marines Manages to Sell 1.3 Million Units

Sega reports today that despite the best efforts of the development studios, Aliens: Colonial Marines has still sold 1.31 million units since its release.

In fact, the game ended up being one of Sega's best selling titles for the period as disclosed by Sega's year-end financial report. Three other games were fairly close to Colonial Marines' sales and those were Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (1.36 million), Football Manager 2013 (940K), and London 2012 (680K).

Granted, since its unfortunate release, a number of significant patches have been released for the game. However, let's not forget that there's an ongoing lawsuit over false advertising claims.
