Wolfenstein: The New Order is Single Player Only

Teased on a Monday, announced on a Tuesday, and detailed on a Wednesday. Such is the life of Wolfenstein: The New Order.

According to the details announced at GameSpot, the new Wolfenstein game will be single-player only.

Obviously the game takes place during an alternate 1960's timeline where the Nazis won World War 2. They also won the race to the moon. Naturally, B.J. Blazkowicz is back in the staring role though he's been locked up in an asylum since defeating Robo-Hitler. When the player discovers something new, so does B.J..

The alternate timeline also says that the Nazis created new technologies the likes of which we've not seen before. This obviously needs to new and odd weapons and enemies. This includes laser turret weapons and stuff like robotic enemies and robo-dogs.

While the focus is kept on the action, there are still puzzle solving elements included. Players will fight through areas such as the Polish mountains and Berlin catacombs.

I was hoping for multi-player. RTCW was one of the best teamwork games to date.

A lot of people seem to be excited for it still. It was a lot of fun back in "the day".
