Combining MMORPG gameplay with classic anime elements, Tales of Laputa thrusts players into a brave new world where magic and machinery coexist, and the threat of demonic invasions is an ever-present danger. As a member of the Order – a society of heroes established to safeguard Laputa - players not only face an epic struggle against notorious Bandits vying to overthrow the island, they must also seek to reveal the true history of Laputa and finally lead the City of Sky into a new era of peace of prosperity.
The new event, Beauty & Beast, which is available all day, everyday; takes players on a 15 minute journey packed with fairytale-inspired
adventure and prizes galore. Participants must be at least level 40 and have not signed up to take part in another event at the same time.
Participation in the Beauty & Beast event costs 50 ingots (Tales of Laputa's in-game currency), and players enter as either Wolves or Red
Riding Hoods. Beauty & Beast rewards players for killing members of the opposing team - Wolves will gain XP and Gold for killing Red Riding Hoods; Red Riding Hoods will be awarded ingots, mushrooms and enchantment stones.
