Report: Kevin Conroy Out as Voice of Batman in Batman: Arkham Origins

There's a little rumor floating around today that Kevin Conroy, the voice of Batman in the first two Batman: Arkham titles will not reprise his role in Batman: Arkham Origins. A South African gaming magazine, NAG Magazine, says that the team is looking for a younger actor to voice a younger Batman.

"To fit the younger vision of the Caped Crusader, WB Games Montreal decided to go with a new voice talent."

Reportedly, Nolan North will return as The Penguin and also voice Black Mask. Commissioner Gordon will again be voiced by Tom Kane and Alfred will again feature the vocal stylings of Martin Jarvis.

Conroy has voiced Batman throughout The Animated Series, the first two Arkham titles, and even in the just released Injustice game. A possible alternative for a younger Bats includes Benjamin McKenzie from Batman: Year One, though nothing has been officially confirmed nor announced just yet.
