Dead Island Developer Announces Hellraid - A First-Person Co-op Slasher

Not quite content with one first-person game on the market, Techland is readying another one. This time Hellraid (formerly Project Hell) is the name of the game and it's being billed as a new first-person co-op slasher set to arrive on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 later this year.

The armies of Hell brought pain and destruction to the realm of man, and only a select few have the fighting skills necessary to confront the devilish monstrosities. Combining elements of hack & slash RPGs, first-person shooters and online multiplayer games, Hellraid features an advanced, immersive combat system with melee, ranged and magical weapons. The engaging Game Master system makes each game a different experience, placing loot and enemies while generating random online challenges.

The game will have two separate components that you can enjoy. There's the single player story element and the unique co-op element that will see four players going against the "denizens of hell and each other" in a fight for points and rewards. Hellraid promises exploration, looting, questing, weapon crafting, boss fights, armor customization, character development, leaderboards, magic, and "so much more."

So you want even more information? Head on over to the Hellraid website or to the Hellraid Facebook page.

They make the co-op sound like a basic horde mode, but whatever it's more interesting than Dead Island at this point.

Also, 3 first person games, Call of Juarez: Gunslinger.

I really hope there is also Coop in the singleplayer/story portion of the game, just like in dead island.

I hope that their Coop is good in this, in both Dead Island games they had never but huge issues with P2P connection for Coop and horrible sound issues in both of the games. I really want to like this company and their games but every release they do makes me slightly dislike them a bit more due to them taking 6+ months to fix major glaring issues.
