A Brief Demo of Skyrim Running on Oculus Rift

We've already seen Team Fortress 2 running quiet well on an Oculus Rift. We've also already seen Mirror's Edge modded to work with an Oculus Rift.

Now it's time for a little bit of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim running on an Oculus Rift.

A little tip, try viewing this video as you would view a Magic Eye image. It will give you an idea of how the 3D works, though a large part of the Oculus Rift is more about the head movement and virtual reality type implementation in addition to the 3D.

Skyrim's use of Oculus Rift is another user mod creation. I must say that with each new video that comes out, I get that much more tingly and really, really want one in my hands, or rather, on my face.

If I understand it, that is on purpose to trick the eye into depth perception. One eye is getting some of the data and the other some of the data and together it makes the entire picture.
