It's official now. Bethesda's newest title reveal is The Evil Within, a new survival horror game created by the father of the genre itself, Shinji Mikami.
To accompany this announcement, a live action trailer for the game can be found below. Expanded impressions will come on Monday, April 22 with another IGN exclusive story. The game is slated for release on the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and next-gen consoles next year.
That already looks better than most recent horror movies.
The Evil Within, in development for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, the PC, and next generation consoles, is slated for release in 2014.
