Female Soldiers Confirmed for Battlefield 4

A couple of new teaser image reveals came today and probably last night for Battlefield 4. One of the images shows the usual male soldier looking all tough, but another image shows a female soldier. Gasp! I know, right‽

These images and the previous images are still being added to the Battlefield 4 hub page. It's actually kind of sad that this is 2013 and female soldiers in a war game is something that is surprising enough to be newsworthy.

Oh wow, I was just thinking to myself that I made it through a Battlefield 4 news post without using the word "teaser" but there it is in the first sentence! Crisis adverted!

Maybe a Female Character in Singleplayer? Kinda like the Navy Pilot in BF3 except you actually get to see her face.

Edit: Also, I keep hearing (even from the BF3 facebook page) that her Name is "Hanna". So Yes to Singleplayer.
