EA Again in Running for The Consumerist's 'Worst Company in America'

Last year, EA "won" The Consumerist's Worst Company in America "award." This year, they're once again in the running and once again the "winners" will be voted on by the public.

It looks as though EA will be facing off against Anheuser-Busch InBev in the first round. Each vote lasts just three hours and the first round has two to three bouts each day. As such, there is no word yet on when the vote for EA will go live.

As of this posting, Facebook is squaring off against Google in first round voting. Get up to the minute updates from the Consumerist hub page for the Worst Company in America.

Also, where is Activision? They have EA against some logo Ive never seen. Should be an easy move forward.

DirectTV beat out Dish? I dont think so. Having been a customer of both I dont know how Dish stays in business.

They have reportedly done some pretty shady things privacy wise, right down to the point Microsoft of all companies are giving them shit about it in their "Use Bing Instead" campaign.

So in the fight against Facebook I think its about who can outdo the other in an invasion of privacy.
