Battlefield 4 Teaser for a Teaser Trailer Posted on Vine

The official Battlefield Twitter account put up a Vine that looks like it's a teaser for an upcoming Battlefield 4 teaser trailer. If the teaser of the teaser is any indication, we can expected to be teased by the teaser trailer on March 27, one day after the media gets teased at GDC 2013.

You can watch the teaser for the teaser over at Vine, or just sit and stare at the static image below for a while. It's not possible to embed a Vine "video" as far as I'm aware. You might even say that the image below is a teaser for the teaser that is teasing the teaser trailer.

... Hopefully it also means that the MP maps will include weather. And hopefully if they do, that weather will be dynamic.

According to rumors that I read from a random source (so about 95% trustworthy), there will be dynamic weather. But it didn't mention if that's SP or MP. MP dynamic weather would be AMAZING.

Many of the rumors have been refuted in one way or another so far. Which is why I'm not really posting them up as news. Feel free to talk about it though, I don't care.

Heh, you should do "Rumour Roundup" weekly posts in the weeks leading up to releases of informations on BF4, the Xbox3, anything new on the PS4 and other things, zips.

I doubt they'll introduce dynamic weather in multiplayer. Frostbite Engine 2 is capable of executing it, but I doubt they'll introduce it in BF4.

Well I would think they would have to bring SOMETHING to the table that separates 4 from 3.

BF3 has so much stuff in it and I dont know if Frostbite 2.5 with dynamic lighting and weather would do it.

I would almost rather they release something like BF2:Special Forces with a BF3 integration.

There are very few games with dynamic weather in MP (are there any?), but Frostbite is clearly capable of it and with next-gen consoles coming out, I can see them wanting to be one of the first ones to do it.

I hope they would do it, it would be nice to have some actual night maps and different weather conditions.

It really bugs me that they made two night maps and they are so well lit. All this night vision equipment and its almost not worth using.

Though it would seem that they don't have long-term plans for the series. Even I think that they just make it up as they go along.
