Dishonored Wins Best Game at the 2013 BAFTAs

Today, the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) revealed their winners for the best games of 2012. Tuesday night's ceremony included a number of surprise wins across the board in a number of categories, including Dishonored taking home the best game of 2012.

Dishonored beat out Journey, Mass Effect 3, The Walking Dead, FIFA 13, and Far Cry 3 in the best game category. Other notable winners include Journey (Artistic Achievement, Audio Achievement, Online - Multiplayer, Original Music, and Game Design), Far Cry 3 (Action), The Walking Dead (Mobile & Handheld, Story), and The Unfinished Swan (Game Innovation, Debut Game).

There were a number of other winners, all of which can be found at the BAFTA website.

Wow, I'm surprised. It was a great game, but I would think Far Cry 3 and The Walking Dead would have beat them out.
