Assassin's Creed 4 Release Date Found to be October 29, 2013

Based on some snooping around by the Internet, it was discovered that the release date for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag is set for October 29, 2013.

Gamers found that simply adding a "v" to the end of the Assassin's Creed 4 website, it would load up a pre-order page that provides the date in question. Right now, the loophole has been fixed and the only thing on the page is a countdown timer to the premiere trailer for the game.

Also of note, it was discovered that the pre-order bonuses for the game include a Todd McFarlane poster.

They've had yearly AC releases now for the past 6 years.

AC1 - 2007/2008
AC2 - 2009
AC:B - 2010
AC:R - 2011
AC3 - 2012

That doesn't include the smaller titles released on portables/phones/tablets in between those.

Not to mention that Ubisoft Montreal has over 2,100 employees, with almost 7,000 total employees in Ubisoft.

It feels a bit too soon in my opinion as well. Im kind of over the AC series now.

Yeah it's starting to get tiresome. I'd really wish they did something new and refreshing like an assassins creed in the Egypt with pyramids and all that. Or in the orient in asia with those crazy interesting traditions and you where a samurai. Themes like these already have very interesting backstories and myths that could be explored and explained further.
