PlayStation Network Purchases Will Not Transfer to the PlayStation 4

Engadget received word from Sony Worldwide Studios president, Shuhei Yoshida, that current-gen PSN titles will not transfer to the PlayStation 4.

In addition, it was also said that save games will also be non-transferable between the two platforms. And while backwards compatibility remains a point of contention, Sony does aim to make old PlayStation titles available to gamers "in some form."
