Really? We are less than 24 hours away from knowing the facts and there is yet another rumor that has come out for the PlayStation 4? Alright. Alright! Fine, let's do this.
Kotaku cites "anonymous sources" that the PlayStation 4 will come in two flavors and will be released this November. One SKU will go for $429 (USD) and a second one will be $529, though this could change. What's the difference between the two? Hell if anybody knows yet. They know the price but not the reason for the differences in price? Sure, why not.
Let's see what else is there. Oh, they said that you'll be able to use a mobile device to chat with your friends or buy games that will automatically download to your machine. I guess this is a bit like what Valve does with Steam for mobile phones.
All PS4 consoles will come with a PlayStation Eye, which tends to make sense since the rumored controller has that PS Move light built into it already. Probably the coolest thing here, though, is how you can now live spectate your friends' games even if you don't own the game. Yeah, OnLive has something like this and it's pretty neat. Now it seems as though the PS4 might have it.
A PlayStation Cloud domain was also registered recently by Sony. This could tie in with their social network integration or their Gaikai streaming service. I'm sure between now and Sony's live event tomorrow, there will be about 100 more reports and rumors that come out.
