Shocking: System Shock 2 Coming to GOG Tomorrow

In less than 24 hours, you can re-purchase, re-play, and re-live through a game that many argue is the best survival-horror, role-playing shooter of all time. It's the second game in a series that gave birth to its spiritual successor, BioShock. That game is, obviously, is System Shock 2.

Tomorrow, GOG.com will have the game available for purchase with a future Steam release still planned. It will have the usual GOG treatment, with extra TLC coming from Night Dive, the studio that managed to secure the rights to the game. They worked hard to ensure that the game would work on modern systems running the latest versions of Windows. They also said that the fan made mods that many players use will be usable without any issue.

The GOG version of the game will include a bevy of extras. It will include the soundtrack, concept art, maps of the Von Braun, and interview with Ken Levine, and much more. It'll basically be the super collector's edition but at a fraction of the cost. It will go for just $9.99 tomorrow at 11AM (GMT) at GOG.com.
