New Batman Arkham Game Coming This Year but Not from Rocksteady

The good news is that Time Warner has revealed a new Batman Arkham title will arrive later this year! The bad news is that it isn't being developed by Rocksteady.

Time Warner's CFO, John K. Martin, made this reveal during an earnings call for the company.

And we also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise.

A report from VG247 says that sources indicate Rocksteady will not be the developer of the title. The new title is rumored to be a bit of a prequel set in the Silver Age and will detail Batman's first encounter with the Joker. It may also include Batman teaming up with other heroes from the DC universe.
