Is a Fallout TV Series Coming?

Perhaps this is what Three Dog's voice actor was teasing last week and not something for Fallout 4. It seems as though Bethesda has filed a patent request for a Fallout TV series. No, seriously.

Filed on January 8, 2013, the patent request is for "entertainment services in the nature of an on-going television program set in a post-apocalyptic world."

I'm not really sure how to feel about this. All I can picture is Friends but where they're drinking out of toilets instead of coffee mugs, and Chandler is a ghoul. Shudder...

First thought:

If bethesda written? Eeeeeeuuuughhh.... They Can't story their way out of a paper bag, especially when it comes to fallout...

second thought is that Chandler already was in Fallout: New Vegas as The guy who shot you at the start. And he wasn't a Ghoul.
