Encore Weekend for Steam's 2012 Holiday Sale

Starting January 5, 2013 and running through January 7, Steam will have an encore of the best sale items from the currently ongoing 2012 Holiday Sale.

The repeats begin tomorrow at 10AM PST and go through until Monday at 10AM PST.

Am I the only one disappointed with this year's sale. I feel like it's the same set of games on sale all the time. I look at today's daily deals and I'm pretty sure every single one of them has been a flash or community choice deal already. I look at the flash and community choice deals and I'm pretty sure most of them have been daily deals or the other of flash or community deals.

And then this "encore weekend" will be the same stuff over again. Civilization V, Skyrim, Chivalry, ARMA II, etc. again.

Flash and community choice sales are almost always, always taken from daily deals and sometimes vice versa. This has been the case for nearly every sale Valve does like this. Same thing with the encore weekend. They always have a final day (in this case two) of repeats from the best deals from the rest of the sale.

Frankly, I've bought more during this sale than in most other Valve sales combined.
