According to the NPD figures for the month of November, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 came out the big winner with over 7.5 million copies of the game sold. That figure is just for copies sold in the United States.
To compare, Halo 4 sold a respectable 3.2 million units, which is still incredibly impressive given that Halo 4 is only available on one platform. Assassin's Creed 3 sold 2.9 million copies.
