Black Ops 2 to Receive Higher than 80 FOV and No Stats Reset for Early Players

A few Tweets from those working on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 should put a smile to your face. If you managed to pick up an early copy of the game and are worried about your stats being reset, worry no more. The team will not reset your stats if you're playing a legitimate copy of the game.
    From David Vonderhaar:
FAQ. Will people be reset? A. Read the previously linked Security/Enforcement policy. Unless you are a bad person doing bad things, no.

Furthermore, the team also says that one of the first things they will be working on for a post-release patch will be to include an FOV of up to 90. This negates their previous remarks where they said that 80 was going to be the limit.
    From pcdev:
On the post-launch patch task list: 90 FOV #BlackOps2 #PC

A definite thumbs up to Treyarch for both of these moves.

FYI, the FOV has been updated to 90 by popular demand in a post release patch. Also that post release patch is being rushed because the list of know issues with the release is as long as my arm. http://steamcommunity.com/app/202990...1362244441900/

Seriously Treyarch are good people, I liked them since CoD5, thought CoD3 was crap but they bettered themselves in CoD5 (Even though it was a WW2 scenario, at least we got to play the Pacific theatre) and their answering demands of the PC market. I will buy BOps 2.

I HATED World at War. It was good in some respects, building on the COD4 MP system and Zombies, but I disliked the story in SP with a passion. On the flip side, I loved Black Ops 1. Now from what I've seen of Black Ops 2, I'll wait to judge until I play it.
