Started a few days ago, the winner of the race to unlock a new dog tag in Battlefield 3 has been determined. In a race between Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC gamers, the PC crowd came out on top in a race to 2 million air kills.
Naturally, however, the Battlefield team informs us that they ran into a "technical snag". As a result, they will give out the dog tag to all players on all platforms later today. At last tally, however, both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 were about 450,000 kills away from the 2 million goal. I'm sure all BF3 PC gamers are uttering a snarky "you're welcome" right now to the console crowd for unlocking the dog tag early for them.
