EA's Origin has topped the 30 million registered user mark, according to EA's COO Peter Moore. Of those 30 million, 4.4 million people have purchased at least one item from the digital distribution service.
Moore, by way of yesterday's earning conference for EA, remarked that 13 million users hit up the Origin service via a mobile device. Of the 4.4 million paying customers, the average spent is $64 (USD).
"With the 70 plus developers that are now putting content on the platform," said Moore, "And with our own content itself - Medal of Honor [Warfighter] debuted this week, obviously - our ability to continue to drive stronger commercial engagement as well as community engagement has got to be key, and the metrics all point towards that being a very strong part of our business."
Alright, show of hands here, who has purchased something through Origin? And don't forget that Battlefield 3 Premium does indeed count.
