Halloween in the first Guild Wars was filled with events, special themes for the major cities and the Mad King. Guild Wars 2 is no exception as the Shadow of the Mad King arrives on October 22 as the first major content update for the game.
In addition, a number of other important changes are coming in this update. The Black Lion Trading Company will now have special Halloween costumes and transforming potions. A Costume Brawl can also take place between players wearing costumes. PvP Paid Tournaments are also coming to the 5v5 arena. The tournaments require tickets to participate which can be earned from winning normal tournaments or purchased through the Gem Store.
