Battlefield: Bad Company the TV Series from FOX

There are at least two things going on in that title that should never be put together in one phrase. Yes, Fox is apparently slated to create an action comedy series based off of EA's and DICE's Battlefield: Bad Company franchise.

It is slated to be an hour long for each episode. It will be written by John Eisendrath (Alias) and will feature the "main characters from the game."
It follows four renegade soldiers as they exit military life and enter the private sector. But trouble is never far behind as they realize their commanding officer had used them to further the ends of a shadow unit within the government and now wants them dead to cover his tracks. Eisendrath is executive producing with Happy Madison’s Doug Robinson and EA’s Patrick Bach and Patrick O’Brien.

Alright, let's hear your thoughts on this one!

I will watch it. If the banter and wit is as well written as it is in the games, it should be good.

The only problem is that I think the "action" era is over. So I dont see it being on the tube for long.

Won't this be kind of a spoof of the TV series "The Unit" except with more comedic events? And as it is Network TV how do they work around all the profanity that came in the game itself?
"We're all very different people. We're not Watusi. We're not Spartans. We're Americans, with a capital 'A', huh? You know what that means? Do ya? That means that our forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world. We are the wretched refuse. We're the underdog. We're mutts! Here's proof: his nose is cold! But there's no animal that's more faithful, that's more loyal, more loveable than the mutt." -John Winger (Bill Murray) Stripes
