Borderlands 3 Being Planned Says Lead Writer Anothny Burch

It should probably come as little surprise to anybody who has played Borderlands 2, but some of the folks at Gearbox are already thinking towards the future. In a recent episode of Revision3's "Totally Rad Show", the Lead Writer on Borderlands 2, Anthony Burch, says that the team is already brainstorming for ideas for the third game.

That's about all that was said so far. Obviously, there is still a ton of life left in Borderlands 2 considering it came out less than two weeks ago and there are four major pieces of DLC planned.

Im loving Borderlands 2 at the moment so this is fantastic news. My only worry is they might skimp a little on the DLC and put their efforts towards producing BL3 instead. If the DLC and BL3 have as much love thrown into them as BL2 clearly has i will be a very happy man.

My understanding about the DLC is that two out of the four major pieces are near fully complete. With the last two at various stages of development.

Anything involving BL3 right now is just them brainstorming ideas, nothing really official just yet.
