For the rabid Call of Duty multiplayer fanatics, it's probably been painful waiting for the first details about the Prestige mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. Well, calm down there bucko, because the first details are finally here.
And that, as they say, is that. Everything that is currently known about the Prestige levels in Black Ops 2 are now yours to cherish. Enjoy.
- There will be 55 base levels.
- 10 levels of Prestige
- Each level earned of Prestige unlocks either a new custom class slot or a permanent weapon unlock (your choice via a token)
- Five total custom class unlocks
- Prestige tokens can be refunded in order to try out other builds or other upgrades
- It's possible just to completely reset all of your stats as well, if you ever go crazy and want to do it
- Unlock everything Black Ops 2 has to offer and you will be granted "Prestige Master" rank.
- Comes with an exclusive Prestige Icon
- No idea what that icon looks like yet
- You must complete EVERYTHING for this to be earned
