This release also includes an update to TEd (the existing Battle Map Editor), which enables Steam Workshop integration and the ability to create scripted single-player historical battles. A sample historical battle, custom-built by The Creative Assembly, is available now on Steam to give new modders a convenient starting point.

I love Total War, I already gave some of my buddies Rome as a gift, best game for 1 dollar IMO.

Have you checked the new Rome II trailer?

If I remember correctly there was some sort of 1st Person View, so I figure some of those sequences might actually be that feature in action.
