Just like with the 2008 Presidential race, Obama is once again starting to appear in the banner ads within Madden NFL 13. The ad campaign isn't necessarily a request for people to vote for him but merely an ad for people to get out there and register to vote.
Though only found within Madden NFL 13, these ads may appear in other EA titles. In 2008, ads of a similar nature were found within 18 different EA titles. A representative from EA stated that they are open to working with other "credible political candidates" and that the ads "do not reflect any political policy for EA."

Players in battleground states can expect to see dynamic advertisements, like the above Obama campaign ad encouraging voter registration, to appear across Electronic Arts' console, mobile and casual lines in the weeks leading up to November 6th. According to the publisher, Ohio, Nevada, Colorado, Iowa, New Hampshire and Virginia are among the states to be specifically targeted.
