Trailer for The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: Hearthfire DLC

Just announced yesterday by Bethesda, the upcoming Hearthfire DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim adds in a bit of a home away from home feeling to the game.

With Skyrim’s newest game add-on, Hearthfire, you can purchase land and build your own home from the ground up – from a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with an armory, alchemy laboratory, stable, garden, and more. Use all-new tools like the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings. Even transform your house into a home by adopting children.

The DLC will be released next week on September 4 for the Xbox 360 for just 400 Microsoft Points. When will it arrive on the PS3 and PC platforms? Well, if it's under the same time exclusive period as Dawnguard was, you will have to wait for at least a month.

Well, most of the features it adds are probably already on the computer in the shape of free mods.

I think this should be free to be honest, at least on PC.
