Rumor: Fallout 4 Set in Boston

A new rumor has surfaced that states Fallout 4 will take place in Boston, Massachusetts. This rumor surfaced from someone who "may or may not be an employee of Massachusetts Institute of Technology."

The source explained via Reddit that "the rumors are true" and that Fallout 4 will take place in Boston.

"The rumors are true, Fallout 4 will take place in Boston. In case you haven’t heard, Bethesda has recently been scoping out and researching Boston. They also have a strong connection to MIT. I may or may not be an MIT employee. But that’s really all I can say for fear of losing my job.

"Apologies for the vagueness of this post. It’s not just my job that worries me, but also getting the f*ck sued out of me. Bethesda’s contracts are basically full-proof so if they were to discover who I am, or rather, who I got this information from, a few people including myself could get into a lot of trouble."

We'll leave it up to you, our dear readers, as to whether or not you wish to believe an anonymous tipster posting this information to Reddit.

Also, since Google+ likes to try and pull images from the site where it can for preview images, it tends to pull user avatars for whatever reason. Many times it decides to pull Crunch's avatar as the first image if the article does not have a preview image, which results in my having to remove the image preview before submitting to G+.

This time, however, it was strangely appropriate...

Possible. Fallout 3 had that quest to do with the commonwealth and the Android program thing.

Though story-wise I am at odds with Fallout 3. For me it couldn't decide if it were serious or if it had humour. And it played patriotism a little too seriously which is odd considering how much cold-war political subtext (with a little bit of satire) there was in the first two games.

Also, Fallout New Vegas bias on my part. New Vegas made me realise that the series should be Post-Post apocalypse, no one should be crying about the world ending for 200+ years. They sit down and get shit done at some point.
