Epic Games has revealed that their first Unreal Engine 4 powered game won't be a new Unreal Tournament but rather a little game by the name of Fortnite.
Being released as a PC exclusive title, Fortnite is Epic's first in-house release on the new engine. To those unaware of what Fortnite is all about, picture a post-apocalyptic world with a full day-night cycle with plenty of action. It blends strategy and action that will find you looking for materials and supplies during the day in order to build up a fortification for when night falls and the attacks from the enemy monsters.
In addition to building fortifications, you can also lay traps, and acquire weapons to help you in your task. The game features a very unique style, a far cry from what you may expect to have seen for a first release with a new Unreal Engine.
