If you are still holding onto a save from the original Borderlands, you will be happy to hear that it can be used to unlock various content in Borderlands 2. Granted, it simply unlocks exclusive skins for heads and characters, but it's still better than nothing!
Again, it's not much but it's still neat that there was some carry over for all of the time spent in the original game.
