Halo 2: Anniversary in Development by 343 Industries

As a follow-up to the quite well received release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, 343 Industries is starting on the development of Halo 2: Anniversary. The latest issue of OXM UK provides us with the first word on this latest remake.

"Following the success of remake Halo Anniversary, 343 Industries has now started development of Halo 2 Anniversary."

This should be good news to fans of the series who enjoyed the first Anniversary release. If it follows the trend, gamers can expect to see vastly improved visuals with the game gameplay that made the original game popular. The best part is that it will probably also release at a reduced cost just as Halo: CE Anniversary did.

Still need to buy the first one, I'll wait to see if they releae a double pack sometime in the future.

The best Halo game (in my opinion). I passed on the first one but this is a must buy! I have many fond memories of playing Halo 2, and cannot wait for this!

It's my 2nd favorite one, after Reach.
I remember when you get to play with The Arbiter, I was somewhere between excited and angry.

The first game is remembered for its setting, introducing the vehicles and guns and story. 2nd is remembered for its multiplayer so i wonder how this will do, also interesting to see if it will be the new Halo 4 multiplayer instead of Reach which is what they did with the first Anniversary.
