Terminal Map Coming to Modern Warfare 3 as a Free Update

While not officially announced, Infinity Ward's Producer, Mark Rubin, has tweeted that Terminal will be re-released for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Terminal, as many of you will recall, was a map featured in Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer.

The good news is that it seems as though it will be free for everyone, regardless of ELITE status. However, it seems as though the Xbox 360 players will get it first as will those who do subscribe to ELITE. Afterwards, it will follow the same sort of release schedule as the other DLC releases thus far (30 days later for PS3 owners).

The release date is expected to be within the next few weeks though a solid date was not yet nailed down. The art of the map was given a fresh coat of paint but major elements remain unchanged.

Hm... It does seem that they are trying to play a "We're better than Battlefield by morals" card, like what DICE were doing with BC2. Its pretty obvious that Activision are letting their own sins get blown over while the current Gaming Goldstein effect sufferer is EA. I don't know if that will hold though.

The conspiracy theorist at the back of my mind keeps saying that Activision is behind all of EA's bad publicity but you know, Thats a pretty stupid idea...

Maybe DICE will release one of the worst BC2 maps for free in BF3 to counter this
