Microsoft has just recently won two disputes over the websites of Xbox8.us and Xbox8.org from a resident of China. These two URL's were also accompanied by XboxLiveTV.com, XboxTablet.com, XboxPhone.com, and XboxCompanion.com.
It's also interesting to note that as of right now, Xbox8.com has not yet been touched. Even with this in mind, could Microsoft be prepping to unleash Xbox 8 onto the world? Is it for a far distant Xbox console release?
Or are they trying to be sneaky about it and tie the new Xbox console in with Windows 8? Maybe the Xbox "Infinite"? It is easier to remember a number than a full word in some cases, so that's another very real possibility.
Whatever the case may be, it still might be a while before we know for sure. So you may as well sit back and relax because Microsoft isn't saying anything.
