This New eSports Mouse Includes a Fan, Yes a Fan

TT eSports, an eSports hardware division of Thermaltake, has just unveiled its latest device. It is a mouse with a mini fan on it pointed directly at your fingertips.

Yep, the BLACK Element Cyclone is a gaming mouse that comes with a detachable fan, which can spin at up to 6,000 RPM. Granted, it also comes with a variety of weight options and various color schemes but the real "innovation" here is the fan that points directly at your fingertips. Why? So you can stay as cool as a cucumber while you're pwning all teh noobs.

The location of the fan is odd, however. I don't know about you, but my fingertips don't tend to get too warm while gaming. The bottom of my hand? Sure, a little bit but the fingertips are just fine.

But hey, whatever makes the eSports crowd feel special, I suppose.

That's got to be the laziest fan design ever. If they wanted a real palm cooling system, wouldn't they put the fan internally and then make holes or a grate in the mouse?
