While Valve continues to toil away on their "big-picture" mode that will allow you to comfortably utilize Steam from your couch, a user has created perhaps the next best thing. Shacknews forum contributor, electroly, has created the Steam Control 360.
As the name implies, it allows you to use an Xbox 360 controller to navigate through a custom Steam game launcher, and allows you to launch your games without the use of a mouse and keyboard!
