On October 16, prepare to once again wander around in the dark for hours on end while shooting at Imps and other stuff from a place called Hell. Yes, Doom 3: BFG Edition arrives on that date for $40 (USD) on the PS3 and Xbox 360, while the PC version will go for just $30.
The BFG Edition includes Doom 3 and the Doom 3 expansion, Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Mission. This is all presented in optional 3D, 5.1 surround sound, achievements, improved rendering and lighting, and a new checkpoint save system.
The best thing here? The flashlight is now mounted onto the armor. This means that yes, you can now shoot a gun and use a flashlight at the same time!
