Leaked Trailer for PAYDAY: No Mercy from Left 4 Dead

The teaser trailer for Overkill Software's PAYDAY: No Mercy has been leaked. This trailer is a piece of DLC for Payday: The Heist that serves as a prequel to the events in the Left 4 Dead series and obviously takes place in Left 4 Dead's Mercy Hospital.

There is no telling how quickly this particular upload of the trailer will be taken down. We can only assume that as the trailer was leaked earlier today that the companies involved will be officially releasing the trailer themselves at any moment.

To be honest, this really wasn't what I was expecting in this DLC. I really thought there would be more zombies and less of the vanilla style PAYDAY that I wasn't a huge fan of in the first place.

What the heck, there are no zombies AT ALL. Isn't it just the game using l4d's map? I can't see what correlation between both of these games in this DLC can be. At first I really thought they where developing some epic new game with very distinct features xD

I really dig Payday. The only thing it is lacking currently is more content, but it has been a great value for what I paid for it. I hope this DLC is included with the new heists they were talking about sometime ago.If you haven't tried payday, it really is worthy of a try should there be a free weekend or a sale.

False alarm guys. Chet Faliszek is now replying to a bunch of E-mails from the media clarifying that the YouTube description is misleading due to "some over-excited marketing guys." The next quote basically implies the answer as to why there are no zombies in the teaser.

Just us having some fun with a studio we are friends with and who have also made a great co-op game.
Looks like this is the second time Mr. Faliszek had to explain that this is not a prequel. As for where this quote came from... I'm not actually sure, because I see Kotaku and GameTrailers claiming the news article as their own. Maybe all of them got the same E-mail replies (makes sense to paste the answer when the entire industry wants information on the video). I don't even have the full quote regarding the marketing guys who made the misleading description.

I wished you guys would come up for a different name for videos which are purposely released and not 'leaked' at all. What they do is misleading and dumb and jumping on the bandwagon is pathetic. Call it what it is and maybe you'll garner some respect and standout. I would go with "Craptastic mod released as full game pretends to leak video in a fail attempt to get attention"

It was a leak. It was released early on accident by Overkill who then immediately made it hidden/private because it wasn't supposed to be out yet. It. Was. Leaked.

It's not misleading in the slightest.
