Is a prequel to Left 4 Dead coming to us from the developers of Payday: The Heist? It very well may be if the latest rumors are to be believed. We already know that Overkill and Valve have teamed up to bring the world something Left 4 Dead related.
CVG has learned that "something" may be a new game that tells the story of what happened before the original Left 4 Dead. The only official word from Overkill is that the game is a "very cool blend of Payday and Left 4 Dead".
If true, this sort of confirms a hunch I had about what they could possibly end up doing. However, I figured it would merely be a chunk of DLC for the existing games, not something completely new as this seems to indicate it might be.
