Yay, half an hour until we get the full skinny and maybe even the ability to buy BF3 Premium.

EDIT: Battlelog down until 1330PST, which is after the EA presentation.

EDIT2: Looks like Premium is up, but getting a lot of server errors on Origin.com and nothing (no Premium) in the client. Officially went on sale at 1330PST.

EDIT3: Now up in client, but when I added it to my cart it adds a bunch of junk that it tries to charge me for.

I bought it through Battlelog. Through there, it completely skipped the cart and went straight to payment information

i bought it through Origin, its all good, it added B2K and CQ but no charge, that is the contents released so far and no charge for them anyways its all good here.

I dont really know about this. For that price, I could go out and buy a full game instead. Say Diablo III or Skyrim.
And I can see that the game still suffers from endless rebalancing and stupid marketing stunts, like holding back the DLC for non-PS3 users.

But I guess the best course of action is to start playing BF3 again and see if I want more of it.

well at $50 its actually cheaper here than the full game so it would seem more worth it to us Aussie scrubs.

I just got it. bye bye half a shift at work... (I only work a casual shift at Mcdonalds once a week for around $14 an hour or something for 8 hours...

Not necessarily EA´s fault, since we have 25% VAT. But so many of the socalled "AAA games" fails to keep my attention for long, so I often feel I get more value for money with indie games.

Total: $176

Folks that is an AC-130 as you can see from these pictures released-





The 130 in DC was also an AC-130....it was just the modellers mistakenly modeled the cargo compartment like a slick. There is no cargo hauler with the side mounted weapons, and the only cargo an AC-130 would even carry(besides the crews gear) is ammo.

I wonder if ther are any other aircrafts on that map? One should think it would be a sitting duck against a jet or gunship.

It was fun in DC but in the end was mostly a deathtrap, hopefully it will have a decent amount of armor and flares....Maybe you can equip both flares and maintenance hehe.

One thins I dont like is it looks like its only 2 people, so you wont be able to have one person on each gun

I wonder if there will be like escort multiplayer missions with the thing? Though hopefully they don't dick move it and make it CoDlike. Unfortunately, it looks that way. both those slots are gunner positions... Pilots are marked different, arent they?

My main problem was that I tried to buy it right out of the Gate after the E3 presentation, every time I added the Premium service to my cart it added the complete package with BF3 and Ultimate whatever package. I was finally able to buy it through Battlelog at around 1400PST, half hour after it was suppose to be out.

I love the BF3 Armor Kill pictures, brings back DC memories.

Looks like its gonna be on rails and only 2 gunner positions? I could live with it not being controllable if we could get at least an entire squad in there but 2? Disappointed, its going to be impossible to even grab a spot in that thing....
