EA in a Nutshell the Video

YouTube user, RushFreak2, put up a video yesterday entitled "EA in a Nutshell" in which he openly mocks EA and IGN (to a lesser degree).

He states in the video description why he made this video.

-This is for buying out some of the best game companies and turning them to mediocrity.
-This is for having some of the worst customer service in the gaming industry.
-This is for deliberately holding back game content for the sole purpose of making customers pay more for it later as DLC.
-This is for strictly enforcing copyrights on content that you did not even create.
-This is for taking the Need for Speed franchise and completely ruining it.
-This is for supporting the S.O.P.A.
-This is for overworking your employees with no benefits, demolishing any creative talent they have.
-This is for making terms of use that allow you to backstab your customers any time you see fit.
-This is for releasing the same things every year, an increasingly large number being the only difference.
-This is for forcing your customers to stay online to even play several games you publish at all.
-This is for backstabbing Valve, preventing the developers you publish for from releasing their games via Steam for the sole purpose of promoting your own platform.
-This is for overhyping your games and not delivering the content you promised.
-This is for bribing media review organizations to increase the rep of your games.
-This is for monopolizing the entire gaming industry and crushing all that oppose you.

Feel free to watch it the entire way through and share your thoughts on this in the comments below.

One thing that annoys me about that is how everyone acts like its EA who causes all the gaming worlds problems and EA alone. What about Activision and their "release the SAME game every year" policy, and their buying and subsequent closing of studios, seemingly just to cancel the games they were developing? What about Ubisoft, who ACTUALLY use draconian DRM in their games, and defend its use? (EA use DRM, sure, but its nowhere near as bad as Ubisoft. And they don't use GFWL as well...)

Also, why is having competition to steam a bad thing? For one, it shows Valve what should and shouldn't be done with online distribution. I know the adage, if its not broke, don't fix it, but what happens if you can't learn from others mistakes?

This guys description makes him sound overly butthurt and focusing all his anger towards one source. EA suck, but not exclusively.

Yeah, I agree. To top all that off, we the consumer continue to buy it over and over. It just validates the very thing they claim to hate.

What people have to remember is that not everyone can be valve. Hell, under other circumstances Valve can be seen as an "evil" company in their current form if there were so called "Gooder" companies. Its all perspective. That "Worst company in america" thing was a load of /V/ backed, bile spewing butthurt over the ME3 ending shit.

Agreed, i was waiting for someone to actually bring Activision in the equation as everyone is targeting EA. EA has actually done good, RA3 was not all bad, BF3 is the shit! (in a good way) man i love that game so much even though i have been away for a while i am a true and loyal fan to the franchise also thje new C&C Generals 2 will be totally kick-ass! srsly people need to reconsider EA.
