Oh, I mean the video quality is bad. The game itself sounds like it'll be fun, but damn if this is some of the weakest "leaked" footage for a game we've ever seen.
Allegedly, somebody got their hands on Halo 4, specifically the game's multiplayer, and have released this "leaked" footage onto the web. The background music is really loud (and NSFW) and the gameplay doesn't start until the 1:37 mark but once it gets started it goes on for about 9 minutes.
This is either a legitimate leak and the person filming has absolutely no idea how to record anything other than a garbled mess, or this is a very elaborate ruse by Microsoft to drum up interest in the game. I suppose if that is the case, they succeed in their mission given that I'm now posting news about this.
The NeoGAF forum visitors also found out some interesting bits from the footage and from Game Informer, including the Hardlight Shield (think of a riot shield but all sci-fi), a perk called Shielding that regenerates your shields faster. Other information includes the Awareness perk that displays a radar while scoped and things called "Tactical Packages".
These Tactical Packages allow you to choose from an auto turret, a vision enhancement that lets you see through walls and objects, the ability to have two main weapons, and more as outlined above.
Sounds like Halo is starting to jump the shark into Call of Duty territory, even more-so than in previous years.
