Tripwire Interactive is busy working on a huge update to Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad. As such, they have been regularly updating their beta client (open to all who own Red Orchestra 2 already). Many of these updates focus on bringing the community a huge number of changes to the game's realism mode.
However, in their free time, one (or a few) of the team have created a super-casual mode they're calling "Action Mode". This mode essentially eliminates the use of stamina while sprinting, increases the amount of damage enemies can take, and makes the game play more like Call of Duty than like any version of Red Orchestra we've ever seen.
Again, this just an additional mode they're toying with here, but it does seem a shame that effort is going into this mode when they could be better spent elsewhere. This is especially apparent when you think that another game mode may end up splitting up the already shrinking community.
